Tasha was up early this morning to take a shower before school. I was getting ready in the bathroom at the same time, and heard her singing the following:
Cuddling with my mommy,
cuddling with my mommy,
cuddling with my mommy
is so nice.
When I am a lazy bones
and I don’t want to get up,
I love cuddling with my mommy.
This went for a good 5 minutes. And, while you might imagine that it was sung as a lovely, sweet lullaby, not so! She was singing the loud, rollicking, rock star version.
The clincher on the cuteness came after she got out of the shower. She started to sing it again, stopped suddenly, and said, “Awww. It only sounds good in the shower.”
I’ll be smiling all day.
